Comments:
I'm very scared and I've only seen the teaser! Can't wait to download the whole episode!

The movie made me hungry and I had to go eat some bacon and potato chips to make me feel better. The southern puppet was cute and I liked her accent.

There are several discussions amongst ThinkStream Film staff revolving around the "southern" puppet from this film. Most of these discussions inevitably turn to the subject of drag queens....

Of course the film made you hungry. That was what it was supposed to do. Another consensus amongst staff here is that the reason so much US government money was put into funding these "nutrition" films was primarily to promote the US food economy. Remember, that we only began seeing large-scale farm subsidies appropriated from the Feds beginning in the post-depression FDR universe of the '30s. "There's gold in them thar hills!" they must have cried. Couple this (historically) with the prior development of the American Dietetic Association, which was formed by a truly forward-thinking group of brave women in 1917 (who, incidentally, also established a substantial grass-roots lobbying power similar in force to that of the women's suffrage movement), dedicated to helping the government conserve food and improve nutrition during the Great War, and you have, my friend, all the ingredients you could possibly need for putting together one of the more transparent examples of domestic American propaganda!

And on that note, I think I'll make some popcorn. It's an indeginous American food, you know....

Enjoy your snack!

Watching this film tickled my bones.

Going through the marrow and into the snow cones.

What funny characters were these little puppets!

Funnier even than Jim Hansen's Muppets.

Ok, now I am getting delirious.

Time to eat some food that is serious.

Ms. Coronet,

I'm so glad you found time for downloading the show!
Those puppets are funny, as you already know.
And "serious food" is always a must:
You must eat good food - of this you can trust!
And speaking of food, you'll be shoulting with cheer
when you see what's on this week! Go ahead - have a beer!

Oh no, does this mean your next film is about the beer industry? I will not be able to watch if you show any negative results from beer consumption. This happens to be my very favorite beverage.
