Functions of a City (1950s)
Bid on the complete, original 16mm print on eBay through 12/01/2006! This hard-to-find print from Progressive documents the various functions of a city from fire control and policing, to water refinement and zoning challenges. Features drowning victim, old jails, theft, fingerprinting, play grounds and children, parks, swimming pools, traffic flow. Lots of great cityscape and street shots (pedestrians and cars).
We here at ThinkStream Films really like these drowning scenes. They are suspensful and dramatic! It is curious just how many people actually seem to drown in these films.
