Writing a Report (1962)
This Coronet film is basically “Writing a Report 101” in ten minutes. If you grew up in the sixties (or even early seventies), this will take you back! The film follows little Ted as he walks through the four basic principles of writing a report:
Choosing a Subject (the Red Spotted Newt!)
Gathering Information (from the Postman, the library, a museum, and encyclopedias)
Organizing the Information (into a neat, concise outline – and sticking to it!)
Writing the Report (which makes his teacher very, very happy – though she doesn’t look it!)
Note: The following clip was taken directly from the original 16mm print and has been edited to approximately half the film's original length.
