Respect for Property (1952)
Shot in the style of a film noir, this super high-budget Coronet film is one of the ultra rare finds that are mostly dramatized. The film is basically a mini-movie, following the trials and tribulations of a gang of boys whose clubhouse is broken into by a rival gang! We see the break in, and the subsequent lessons learned as the victimized boys realize that what destruction was done to them, they too have been guilty of (carving on school desks, etc.). A truly hard-to-find Coronet masterpiece! Grade A all the way ‘round!
Note: The following clip was taken directly from the original 16mm print and has been edited to approximately half the film's original length.
